Suffolk’s Set of Elastic is an 18-inch piece of elastic. It is woven elastic that has a high quality look and feel, which is the best for sewing pointe shoes. The woven elastic is made from dense interlocking threads that produce a premium product. Our elastic can be identified by the crosswise and parallel ribs that create a windowpane effect. Premium woven elastic does not narrow and cannot be seen through when stretched. However, it is easily stitched through without affecting the integrity of the elastic. Woven elastic also resists curling and is the softest elastic made. The elastic solidly secures the shoe to the foot of the dancer.

Typically, this 18 inch piece is enough to provide single elastics on two pairs of pointe shoes or double elastics on one pair. Buy two if you wish to criss cross.
